The Baltimore Ravens traded Anquan Boldin to the San Francisco 49ers for a sixth round pick in the 2013 NFL draft.  Boldin was one of the Ravens’ best wide receivers.

In the 2012-2013 season, Boldin caught 65 passes for 921 yards and 4 touchdowns. In the post season he caught 22 passes for 380 yards and 4 touchdowns. Boldin even caught the first touchdown pass in Super Bowl XLVII for the Baltimore Ravens.

Many Ravens fans are disappointed with the trade because the Ravens lost one of their best players for a sixth round pick. The San Francisco 49ers scored a great deal for Boldin, a high profile receiver, and all they had to do was give up their sixth round pick out of their 15 picks in the 2013 NFL draft.
