Restaurant Review: Café Sophie

By: Aaron Patterson

If you are trying to get a legit San Francisco café experience stop by Café Sophie. The location, only a few blocks from the 16th Street BART station, is easy to get to. Once you’re there, the atmosphere in the café is great. The workers are delightful. They will recommend drinks if you are stuck on what to order, such as their Iced Dragon Eyes Tea. This tea is probably one of the best iced teas I have had. It cost $3 a glass. Another drink I tried was called Honey Monkey. This drink is a mixture of tea, honey and milk. The Honey Monkey is worth the $4. They have all your typical café beverages such as espressos, Americano, loose leaf tea, macchiato, cappuccinos, coffee and cold brew coffee. They also serve some delicious pastries to go along with all of their outstanding beverages. Café Sophie is a pleasant experience in the heart of San Francisco.
